Il progetto riguarda la ristrutturazione di un piccolo appartamento di circa 70 mq che presenta una muratura portante di 60 cm ed un’altezza interna di 5 metri.
Tutti gli ambienti sono stati totalmente ripensati: il piccolo ambiente posto a sud dell’abitazione - utilizzato precedentemente come una piccola cameretta - è stato ripensato come un bagno dalle dimensioni modeste. La grande area Cucina/Salone è stata invece ripensata dal punto di vista della disposizione dell’arredo: questa soluzione permette di avere uno spazio molto più organizzato e fruibile, cosa che precedentemente non avveniva. E’ stato inserito, infatti, un tramezzo che fa da parete tv e che divide l’ambiente cucina dall’ambiente salone. Il ripiano della parete tv si trasforma poi in tavolo
da pranzo allungabile capace di accogliere fino ad otto postazioni. Per quanto riguarda la zona notte, essa è stata totalmente soppalcata in modo da posizionare tutte le camere necessarie.

Al piano terra troviamo la camera da letto con annessa cabina armadio e bagno in camera, mentre al piano superiore - accessibile tramite una
scalinata totalmente rivestita in legno sono state posizionate le due camerette. Per risolvere il problema “luce”, nella cameretta di sinistra è stata inserita una finestra alta che permettesse di poter “rubare” luce dalla camera di destra, illuminata, invece dalla portafinestra “tagliata” del piano inferiore.

The project concerns the renovation of a small apartment of about 70 square meters which has a load-bearing masonry of 60 cm and an internal height of 5 meters.
All the rooms have been completely redesigned: the small room south of the house - previously used as a small bedroom - has been redesigned as a modestly sized bathroom. The large kitchen / living room area has instead been redesigned from the point of view of the arrangement of the furniture: this solution allows for a much more organized and usable space, something that previously did not happen. In fact, a partition has been inserted that acts as a TV wall and divides the kitchen from the living room. The shelf of the TV wall then turns into a table
extendable dining table capable of accommodating up to eight workstations. As for the sleeping area, it has been totally lofted in order to place all the necessary rooms.

On the ground floor we find the bedroom with adjoining walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, while on the upper floor - accessible via a
staircase totally covered in wood the two bedrooms were positioned. To solve the “light” problem, a high window was inserted in the small room on the left that allowed the light to be “stolen” from the room on the right, which was instead illuminated by the “cut” French door on the lower floor.
